Financial eligibility program requirements are 250% to 500% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), depending on the Novartis Medicine.†
The Federal Poverty Level defines the minimum yearly income that a person or family needs to provide for its basic needs. It is adjusted each year by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This level dictates a set of guidelines for use for administrative purposes — for instance, determining financial eligibility for certain federal programs.*
*Exception process exists.
†Criteria based on 2016 federal poverty guidelines. Based on adjusted growth income.
The Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation, Inc. and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation do not guarantee success in obtaining reimbursement, nor do we submit appeals on behalf of providers or patients. Third-party payment for medical products and services is affected by numerous factors, not all of which can be anticipated or resolved by the Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation, Inc. staff.
